CELESTRIALS
Apr. 11th, 2021 03:41 pmTheme: Greed, Trickery
Bio: She is fiercely possessive of those she considers hers, jealous to a fault, and willing to do anything for that purpose; despite this, she values a clever mind above all else. While she does love a devoted follower, her favor shines on those who use their wit to achieve what-- or who-- they want, at any cost. And to that end, of course, there’s no sense in allowing oneself to be tied down.
Likes: Greediness, hoarding, a desire to remain emotionally “free”, clever uses of powers or people, being surprised by unexpected actions, boisterousness, moral ambiguity
Dislikes: Being too devoted to one person or cause, self-righteous virtue (in a moral or religious way), too much humbleness or shyness, a lack of empathy, senseless sadism
★ The Third Face: Fooling the Senses: The power of illusion. The character may affect any of the senses or the victim’s perception of passing time. For a brief time of no longer than ten minutes the victim of the illusions may be fully trapped or tricked by the illusion given and will think the situation was real for up to a day afterwards. The illusions cannot cause actual, physical harm on their own, but the victim can be driven to harm themselves, if effective. The illusions can also be used for special effects.
★ The Sixth Face: An Inconsistent Shape: The power of shapeshifting. The character may change their face into someone else’s they know, or they may change into an animal, real or imagined, no larger than a tiger, with all the skills at its disposal. The larger the animal the shorter their retention time will be, with the largest lasting no more than a minute, and any injuries received in a transformed state will still be present in their normal body. Being killed in a transformed state will see characters change back very near death-- if not healed-- in their normal body.
★ The Ninth Face: 1000 Years of Bad Luck: The power of inflicting bad luck. This can be inflicted anywhere at any time, so long as the victim is within view of the user. For up to 24 hours, the victim will be inflicted to mild to severe bad luck, with severity scaling to shorter timespans. A long period of bad luck will generally show the victim to trip, get papercuts, fumble an object, slight difficulty controlling impulse, etc, more often, while a very short period will show more things such as accidental severe injury, badly impulsive behaviour, uncontrolled emotions, or breaking important objects.
